Non Profit Status / Fall Festival

Organized by Tympanic Theatre Company

Here's the Skinny...
Dear friends, family, and patrons:

Greetings! It's been an extremely eventful year for us. We recently closed our second season with MUSING at The Side Project and are gearing up for our third. We have a great deal of exciting events on the horizon, most notably our festival of new work, debuting at The Side Project's main space (1439 W. Jarvis) October15th through November 8th. Featuring eight ten minute plays by S.L.Daniels, Bob Fisher, Michael Greco, Rob Matsushita, Josh Mikel, SusanMyburgh, Dan Pfleegor, and Lauren D. Yee, this soon-to-be-titled nightof theatre will be Tympanic's biggest, most dynamic production yet, acelebration of original world premieres in the windy city. We will beannouncing directors, designers, and the cast in the coming weeks. Youcan track the progress of the festival through our newly launched blog .

Ontop of the festival, our other goal is obtaining non-profit status, along desired achievement that will allow us to apply for grants andother forms of financial support that will truly take Tympanic to thenext level. In lieu of the non-profit fees as well as the productioncosts for the festival, we are asking for a small yet significantdonation of $5. If we can get 200 people to donate this amount, we canreach our goal of $1,000, which would cover our non-profit fees and give us an $800 budget for our production.

Itineranttheatre companies in Chicago like ourselves simply cannot exist withoutthe help of supporters like you. You have been unconditionally generousin the past, and we are once again asking for your help. To make adonation, simply click on the "ChipIn" button above.
